Meet Molly: A nanny and babysitter in Burwood, VIC

Hi! I am a young woman from America looking for work as a nanny.

I have been caring for children consistently since 2014 when I turned 11. Regular babysitting and volunteering for childcare through my school turned into professional nanny work in 2023 when I found a family to work for while I studied at uni. I cared for a 6 month old baby and a two year old child with autism for 1.5 years, and I only left in February to move here to Melbourne.

I have a lot of passion for working with children, and I find teaching and watching them grow to be incredibly fulfilling. I always make sure to match a child's energy and engage with them almost as a peer, as I find that it really helps them to feel respected and valued as an individual.

I am more than happy to cook, clean, tutor, play, go on outings, and more. I will also travel more than 20km for a family as long as it is reasonably accessible through public transportation as I do not own a car, though in a few weeks I will have a valid driver's license. I am actively working on getting a police check and a WWCC, but I have run into trouble as I only have one form of ID at this moment. I am also happy to provide a reference from the family I worked for most recently at request. Thank you!
