Hi Parents!
I’m a 29 year old professional nanny living in Brighton with three Australian Budgies. In my big Greek family we have five nieces and two nephews! After being a casual babysitter for a couple of years, I found a passion in childhood development and helping families maintain a smooth household so that has led me into the career of nanny. I’ve been in the industry for seven years and have worked with children aged 10 months to 16 years old.
My first professional role was 30 hours a week with two girls aged 3 and 6. Responsibilities include all transportation from school and after school activities, assist with homework, entertain with activities such as arts and crafts, dance classes, prepare dinner (I love to cook!), bath, bed time and light house duties being laundry and home organisation. Additionally any errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, taking their dog out for walks!
A family with older children were 9yo girl, 11yo boy and 13yo boy. I was responsible for providing safe transportation in my car for after school activities, helping with homework and ensuring they had appropriate belongings for the next day activities. Making lunch boxes, laundry, cooking delicious meals and providing a fun environment for the children.
I’ve worked as a chaperone for Kidz On Set, where we ensure kids are constantly looked after on set and backstage productions. I was also a dance coach at Haileybury College where I teach children grade prep to year 10. Currently obtain a valid Working With Children's Check, Police Check, full drivers licence, own car and First Aid including CPR. I adore animals and love dogs and cats!
I’ve spent 2 years working with two boys to develop my career and gain experience working with younger children. They were 10 months and 3 years old at the time. I’ve advanced my knowledge in infant routines and steps to ensure they are happy and healthy whilst providing a nurturing environment. Duties include maintaining household cleanliness, cooking balanced meals, managing nap schedules, bed time routines, excursions to library and parks and creating sensory and developmental activities.
I’m currently working with 3 school aged children and searching for a new family to start with early 2025, ideally 25-30 hours a week, 4/5 days, long term commitment. I believe it’s important for children to have a committed nanny who is reliable and has a flexible schedule to suit family needs.
Please feel free to reach out at any time.
Thank you!
