Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, my name is Allegra and I am 18 years old. I am seeking some part time work as a babysitter and I have a few years of experience in babysitting children from ages 1-5. I love spending time with kids and I am more than happy to assist with homework, cleaning and cooking. I am very familiar with kids' evening routines including cooking dinner, bath time and settling for bed. I am currently studying at Monash University, meaning I will have greater flexibility to work throughout the week. I attend uni weekly on Tuesdays (11-1 pm), Wednesdays (10-12 pm) and Thursdays (8-12 pm). However, my timetable will likely change in Semester 2 and I am willing to adjust my classes to fit your desired schedule. Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I have extensive childcare experience, having cared for my niece since birth—she’s now 10! Additionally, I babysat a 3-year-old in Amsterdam and spent 13 months as an au pair in the U.S., providing full-time care for two girls, ages 3 and 6. These roles have given me hands-on experience in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I love engaging children in creative activities, ensuring their well-being, and adapting to their individual needs. Responsible and patient, I’m passionate about childcare and dedicated to providing a warm and supportive presence for both children and parents.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hey there! This message is for the parents out there who are looking for a nanny. I am looking to offer support over the busy Christmas period, into the new year and ongoing for the right families. I currently have 2 beautiful families i nanny for in Olinda, but am looking to take on 1 to two more long term, Malvern east and surrounds. If your kids want to be around someone who is full of joy and excitement for life, is fun, imaginative, can explore with them and meet them where they are at, I’m your woman. In the years that I have had the honour of learning and growing alongside little humans, I have realised they are often my biggest teachers and I approach them the same way I choose to learn and grow in life, with open attention, curiosity and love. Each kid is so unique, and so I choose to not confine my approach to any specific methods or parenting techniques, rather I listen, I observe and grow alongside them, adapting and meeting them where they are at with compassion and understanding. The capacity to which I can hold space for myself and love myself through big emotions and feelings mirrors how I can hold space in challenging times with kids. I am still learning everyday, but through my consistent somatic practise, meditation, embodiment, dance, and my faith, my capacity to navigate challenge with patience and ease has grown. I endeavour to pass on my wisdom in a creative and playful way to your kids, so they too can flourish, thrive and grow into incredible beings that lead the next generation. In terms of logistics and my background supporting children I was an international languages teacher for 2 years overseas teaching from the ages of nursery to high school and nanny for 3 regular families over the last 2 years in Melbourne. I have also looked after children from ages 2-15 up in the sunshine coast. I also have experience with caring for children with disability and diverse needs, children with adhd and autism. I have my license, a car, and am comfortable fitting car seats (car seats would need to be provided). Besides that i am finishing my herbalism certification this year. I am also a business owner of a dance & embodiment women's school, where i hold classes, workshops, retreats and perform. Please shoot me a message if your interested and I would love to have a chat! 🙂

I'm an 19 year old who has just moved back home after living in England working at a kids activity camp center. I was working there for 6 months while the center was open! I have done babysitting before but I gained so much experience in looking after kids from working at the kids activity center. I was often responsible of keeping up to 48 kids safe myself and ensure they were having a good time as well. These responsibilities ranged from all times of the day (even overnights) so I have a lot of experience with anything your kid(s) may need!

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Born in Melbourne and where I lived for the first 3 years of my life. I relocated to the UK (I have dual citizenship) where I successfully completed school, and subsequently obtained a degree in English from the University of Sussex. I have very recently permanently relocated to Melbourne. Since graduating, I have had experience working with children aged 4-11 in a school as a teaching assistant (DBS checked = British equivalent of WWCC). I would be more than willing to obtain a WWCC too. During my time at the school, I was responsible for providing one-on-one support for children with special educational needs and disabilities, led small group interventions which covered all curriculum areas, completed a course focusing on supporting the emotional wellbeing of the children and independently ran sessions for those who needed access to social and emotional support, occasionally covered for class teacher and assisted with lesson planning. I have also done babysitting for children of all ages over the span of 10 years. I would love to become an Au Pair/Nanny, as I take great joy in helping children learn, grow and explore the world around them. I would hugely benefit from the experience, as it offers the valuable and unique opportunity to expand my life experiences. The chance to become an extended part of a family, whilst providing support with childcare and household tasks is appealing to me as I want to be able to contribute to the daily lives of a family and create a special bond.I would be a reliable, trustworthy and patient Au Pair/ Nanny with a sense of humour, and would ensure to respect all family boundaries. I can also offer any additional tutoring in any subject area.

Dear Parents, After 20 years in childcare, I have connected with children of all ages—from babies and curious toddlers to independent teens. For the younger ones, I bring engaging activities like art, cooking, and music. For your teens, I'm more like a trusted friend than a babysitter—respecting their independence while being someone they can count on for rides to practice, help with homework, judgment-free conversations, or simply having fun together. I create an environment where everyone in your family feels valued. Your teens will appreciate that I recognise their growing maturity while providing the right balance of freedom and boundaries. I'd love to chat about how I can support your family. Warmly, Michelle

Hello!! I am a young Canadian who loves to travel and is looking for some work while I stay in Melbourne during my university break. I have loads of experience caring for children as I babysat regularly throughout high school (ages 0-12), worked at a daycare looking after five children on my own, all 1-3 years old and actually nannied last time I was in Melbourne looking after four children (ages 6-16). I also love all animals and have no issues on that front. I spent a year in Melbourne on my working holiday visa but came back to Canada to start my nursing degree. However, I do come back to Melbourne quite frequently as my boyfriend and many friends live here. That being said unfortunately I can only do shorter stints around 3 months but am very eager to keep busy and hangout with your lovely children. I have all of my standard first aid training, basic life saving training and can take a killer set of vitals if needed hahaha. I love spreading kindness and believe all children should feel comfortable being themselves. I understand it takes a village and I am hoping to be apart of yours :)
