Hi, Iβm Donna β a warm, gentle, and down-to-earth person who truly loves helping children of all ages feel safe, accepted, and supported just as they are.
As a mum of three (one of whom is autistic and has ADHD), I understand that every child is unique, with their own way of seeing and moving through the world. I bring both life experience and a lot of heart to what I do, and I know how important it is to have someone in your childβs life who genuinely cares.
Whether Iβm helping with daily routines, offering calm emotional support, or simply being a kind, steady presence, I always work at a pace that suits the child. I take the time to build real connections and love discovering what brings each child joy β whether thatβs a quiet moment, a favourite activity, or sharing a laugh together.
Iβve supported children in residential care and one-on-one through disability support, always with a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach. I do my best to create spaces where kids feel safe, respected, and free to be themselves β and where parents and carers feel supported too.
Iβm currently studying Social Work at UWA and hold a First Aid Certificate and NDIS Screening Card.
Outside of my work, I enjoy sewing and dressmaking, volunteering in the community, and spending time with my partner and our much-loved 18-year-old Siamese cat, Raphael. I bring warmth, patience, and genuine care to everything I do β and I feel honoured to be part of a childβs journey, even in small ways.
