Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m Donna — a warm, gentle, and down-to-earth person who truly loves helping children of all ages feel safe, accepted, and supported just as they are. As a mum of three (one of whom is autistic and has ADHD), I understand that every child is unique, with their own way of seeing and moving through the world. I bring both life experience and a lot of heart to what I do, and I know how important it is to have someone in your child’s life who genuinely cares. Whether I’m helping with daily routines, offering calm emotional support, or simply being a kind, steady presence, I always work at a pace that suits the child. I take the time to build real connections and love discovering what brings each child joy — whether that’s a quiet moment, a favourite activity, or sharing a laugh together. I’ve supported children in residential care and one-on-one through disability support, always with a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach. I do my best to create spaces where kids feel safe, respected, and free to be themselves — and where parents and carers feel supported too. I’m currently studying Social Work at UWA and hold a First Aid Certificate and NDIS Screening Card. Outside of my work, I enjoy sewing and dressmaking, volunteering in the community, and spending time with my partner and our much-loved 18-year-old Siamese cat, Raphael. I bring warmth, patience, and genuine care to everything I do — and I feel honoured to be part of a child’s journey, even in small ways.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Fuuki, Nice to meet you! I have studied Child care for a year in Japan. I have been working in Australia for over 10 years as a long term (1-7 year) nanny, looking after children aged between 3 months -12 years old. Recently, I finished with a family (Feb 2023 - Feb 2025) and have a written reference from them and two more. I have WWCC, First Aid and Police check. I have worked as a nanny for approximately 12 years. In Canada, I was a 'Live-in' nanny for 2 years looking after 9 month old twin boys. Also, twice a week during this time, I volunteered as a baby-sitter in a school for new mothers, looking after new born babies. In Australia, I have worked for a variety of Australian families over the last 10 years. I worked for a family with a 9 month old and 5 year old girls for 5 years, a family with a 3 month girl for 9 months, and a family with a 1 year old girl and two 5 and 7 year old boys for 4 years. Longest term job : They had an 8 year old girl, a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl, I started when an 8 year old girl was a 9 month baby for 7 years. I still keep in touch with them :) Then recently, I finished (end of Feb 2025) a family with a 3.5 year old girl and 6.5 year old girl, I started when a 3.5 year old girl was a 18 month baby for 2 years. Originally, I am from Japan and while in Japan, I had a career in civil engineering for 15 years. I grew up in the Japanese countryside with a huge family which included my 25 cousins, and I started looking after infants and young children by the age of 8. I’ve had extensive experience raising and looking after children of all ages. I take pride in my sense of duty and responsibility; I'm an active person who loves to be outside so I normally stay in park 1-2 hours with children; I'm easy-going, warm-heart, cheerful, friendly and an all-around honest type of person and, above all else, you can rest assured that your children are in good and capable hands when I am with them. All the Australian families that I have worked with would be happy to speak with you directly; I can also provide you with three written references upon request. Thank you for reading my profile, I look forward to the opportunity of working together with you and your family! P.S. I'm looking for a regular position that offers full days (min 7h, between 7am-6pm), not split shifts please. Expected Pay $30-38 p/h. (depending on other duties). * Below is an extract of a reference from my long term employers. "Fuuki has shown herself to be extremely reliable, punctual, flexible, caring and responsible. Fuuki was never late or absent during her tenure with us for 4 years. Fuuki developed a great relationship with our children, particularly our youngest daughter... " Continue. "Fuuki Potter has been employed to look after my 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy) from birth to 8 years old. Fuuki first started with our family when I had my first daughter and returned to work when she was 9 months. Fuuki spent time with children and completed a range of activities from breakfast time (including baby bottles) to play time. My children enjoyed the days they spent with Fuuki and always waited at the door for her to come. The kids had lots of fun with everything they did with Fuuki. I can recommend Fuuki to a new family and welcome any calls, especially families with young children. Fuuki is very punctual, trust worthy and a very honest person."... Continue.

Hi I’m Taylor and I’m so excited to meet you! I am a kind, caring and compassionate 20 year old woman who is studying a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Curtin University here in Perth WA. While that may raise some concern for availability, I have only just completed my first year of study and placements are very short over the next year as I’m still a baby student nurse and only have 2 placements per year. My first placement wouldn’t be until around April-June which only goes for 2 weeks so nothing major! I am the youngest of 3 daughters to my parents and have always loved kids. I have helped to work with a young 2 year old girl toddler who was very bright and full of energy and had loads of other experience this year working for a family of 4 here in Shenton Park, where both parents are working full time. I look after a little 9 year old girl and a 12 year old boy. I help in regard to picking up the kids from school and helping with homework and extracurricular after school activities. I am looking for some work after this school term ends for 2024 leading up to 2025! In my free time I enjoy going to the gym to stay fit and also love playing with all my animals at home (2 golden retrievers and 2 cats). I look forward to finding the next family who I can work with to take care of their child/children. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile! Taylor :)

Hi I am Abigail!. I am from Ireland and have been living in Australia for over two years now. I have a degree in Social Care&Work. I love children, having 8 years extensive experience of caring for children of all ages. While in Uni I spent three summers as a au pair minding four children from the ages of 3-12 in Ireland.I also have younger brothers, so growing up I took my role of older sister very seriously, and minding children feels like second nature to me. I was always on babysitting duties. My interests are in music and art. I have recently moved to Perth from Melbourne, where I minded two boys age 10 months and 3, three days a week. I absolutely adored my time with them and was so sad to leave. I am a very outgoing and bubbly person and love making fun and meaningful activities with kids. I would love to be able to build a relationship with a family as well as being able help with childcare needs. I have my full driving license for 8 years and a car.
