Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Northern Middle Melbourne, VIC

We are looking for a kind, nurturing and fun-loving nanny to spend time with our children: Rachel, who is 4 years old and Ethan, who is 2.5 years old.

Living Situation
We live in a two-storey house 10 mins from Ivanhoe Train Station on foot (3 mins by car). Rachel and Ethan live with their parents (Isabel and Jason) and Isabel's parents.

Rachel
Rachel currently attends 4yo kinder at Ivanhoe Girls Grammar School 5 days a week. She normally comes home at 3pm. When she comes home from kinder, she is usually quite bored and is always looking for things to do.
On Saturday, Rachel has ballet lesson from 12.15- 1pm in Fairfield.
On Sunday, Rachel goes to Sunday school from 10 to 11.30am
Rachel likes drawing and pretend play. She is generally very kind and sweet.

Ethan
Ethan has not started childcare yet. He likes playing with toy cars all day. He can play independently. He can be quite cheeky sometimes and likes to draw on the wall when no one is watching. He is very attached to Isabel's dad.
Ethan is nappy-free but can have toileting accidents sometimes.
He takes one midday nap.

The adults
Jason works as a doctor and works most days during the week. Isabel is a public servant and works in the office Wed & Thurs and from home Mon, Tue and Fri. Isabel's parents are retirees.

Your Duties
Your duties will include:
1. Playing with Rachel and Ethan (that's the main thing)
2. Reading to them (Rachel would be more interested in books than Ethan. Ethan only wants to read about cars.)
3. Having conversations with them
4. No cooking required, but you will need to fetch fruits and snacks from the kitchen for them if they're hungry
5. Saying No to TV unless they are really tired and need some downtime

We don't have a fixed time when we need help and are happy to arrange care on an ad-hoc basis. The reasons we are looking for a nanny are so that we can:
1. Limit Rachel and Ethan's screen time; and
2. catch a break from time to time- especially on the weekend.

Nannies who are native Mandarin speakers will be given priority consideration.

We are a fun loving family of 4 and we looking for a warm, fun and responsible carer for our two imaginative, energetic girls (3yr and 7yr) on weekdays (Monday - Friday) in the mornings and afternoons. We are a professional family and we need some help getting the girls to and from school and after school activities, bathed and fed. We also require some help with dinner prep and some light housework. We have cleaners so just require help with laundry, dishwasher, toy tidy up and meal prep while kids are at school during the day.

Mon - Fri: Before school (6:30am-9am) and After school (2pm-6pm) care.
OUR PRIORITY IS THE AFTETR SCHOOL CARE. WE WOULD BE HAPPY JUST STARTING WITH AFTER SCHOOL CARE IF THAT IS MORE SUITABLE FOR THE APPLICANT

Weekends as available for babysitting (this can sometimes be a shift of 8-12 hours, therefore a good way to supplement income, if desired)

Ability to drive is necessary as kids have a lot of extra curricular activities. Can use our car or nanny's own.

HOURLY RATE - negotiated at time of hiring, based on experience etc (We value your important role in our lives and want the salary to reflect that)

*START DATE IS ASAP, but we would love to do some paid trials beforehand so girls can get to know you ahead of the start.

Hello, I am a single dad residing in Kingsbury with an 11-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son.
I am looking for an educator to look after the kids in the mornings as I'm an Electrician and required on site usually between 6 and 7am (usually 7am). Your start time would be either 5am or 6am.
You would make the lunches, get them up and then take them to school, which is less than a 10 minute drive.
They are good at getting themselves showered and ready for school and making their own breakfasts.
You would have the option of weekend and week night shifts occasionally when I need to work overtime.

This could be ongoing for the next 4 years until my son goes to Secondary School.

We are seeking a dedicated Nanny/Housekeeper to join our family starting immediately. We have one Boy aged 8 and triplet children aged 3, 2 Boys and 1 girl.

This position is initially for two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursday) as my wife and I both work full time jobs and on those days we are required to travel. Would also be good if the person can provide casual babysitting on occasion.

The working hours are flexible but an early start (7.30am) or late finish (7pm) will be required on each of the days, open to discussion on this.

Looking for a babysitter to help out with dinner, bed and bath time. 4pm to 6.30pm. My partner or I will also be there to help with the kids, we just need someone to help lighten the load as I’ve just returned to work and often can’t get home till after bedtime. School drives : Eaglemont to Bundoora (Roughly 20-25 minute drive)

Morning hours: 8:00am-9am
Monday - Friday

Weekends - if keen there will be opportunities for more hours here.

Other duties for casual hours:
