Looking for somebody to watch my 8-year-old daughter for 13 weeks, definitely on Thursday mornings from 7AM-9AM getting her up and ready for school. As well, as picking her up from school on that same day, being Thursday, for 13 weeks, and entertaining her (park, library, dinner, home, museum etc) till 7pm.

I will also need help on other days and time open to negotiation. I am happy to work with your availability, for at least another 15 hours potentially more during each week.

This is a fluid situation, however Thursday is 100% needed as I am in university and must be on class that day.
I also need to take an internship volunteering so will need babysitting on those days as well.

I am a single mother while in Melbourne, and relocating with my daughter from New York.

I have always found wonderful babysitters on this site, when visiting, but this is a little different as my daughter will be attending school.

We land in Melbourne, middle of January and have a house in Fitzroy. Would like to have somebody organised by the time we land.

We need someone for Saturday 27th of December from approx. 9am to 4.30pm.

After school care including school pick up for our 4 and 6 year old boys (4 year old goes to kinder on school site) 2:30-4:30pm, some days until 5:30. Our six year old has autism so needs a patient and kind person, ideally with experience with neurodiverse children. Ideally you would be available for school holiday care too.

School pick up could be by car or bus but drivers licence preferred for drop of at afterschool activity on Mondays.

Hi! I’m a single dad with two daughters (5 & 8) who are with me 50% of the time. They’re both very creative and energetic, and I’m looking for a reliable, practical person to help keep the house running smoothly so I can be more present with them.

I’m after someone on a casual, ongoing basis to help with a weekly “house reset”. This would usually be 1–2 hours per week to start, with flexibility either side.

Tasks might include:
• Tidying up and putting things back in their place
• Washing dishes or unpacking the dishwasher
• Folding or putting away clean laundry
• Light room resets and general organisation
• Occasional personal assistant–type errands, like picking up birthday presents or small items

There may also be occasional ad-hoc babysitting, if you’re open to it, but the core of the role is household help rather than childcare.

The role will likely start regularly from late January, as my current helper is moving interstate, though there may be a few opportunities before then.

We are entering a new stage of life where all three of our boys are at the same primary school a short drive from our house. We are looking for someone to drop them to school and come back to our house to help with general tidying, changing the boys sheets, folding clothes and cooking a family meal. We are looking for someone that wants continual work and will stay with the family for quite sometime so the children have consistency. I am looking for someone to help with my two boys. A 1 year old and 2.5 year old next year. Need someone who loves being outside and taking them to different parks/ playgrounds and is capable of prepping dinner if needed! And then just general cleanliness like putting toys away and washing if needed!

We are a family of 3 based in Port Melbourne looking for a permanent part time nanny for our 2 year old boy, whilst Mum is working from home. We see this person as being an extension of our family, who will play a key role in our son's life and development :)

Work day is Monday (8.30am - 5.30pm).

Duties include but are not limited to feeding/food prep, putting to sleep, fun and developmental activities (play, going for walks etc), fostering development and light home duties.
